Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola was delighted with Alexis Sanchez's brace in victory over Rayo Vallecano.

It was the Chile international's first goals for Barca since his summer switch from Udinese.

"We knew it was one of his talents, and not only as an attacking player," said Guardiola.

"Now people have seen what he is capable of and I congratulate him."
