Barcelona boss Guardiola delighted with victory at AC Milan: Pleasure to play here

Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola was delighted with their Champions League win at AC Milan.

Guardiola, who speaks fluent Italian thanks to his time playing for Brescia and Roma, was interviewed by Sky Sport Italia after his side's 3-2 victory over Milan.

"We are happier compared to the last game," he said, referring to their 2-2 draw at the Camp Nou.

"Coming here to San Siro to win and putting in a performance like this was not easy. It's always a pleasure to play in this stadium, especially against Milan, who are one of the most successful clubs in the world.

"The crowd is so passionate and always cheers on its players throughout the match.

"We created many scoring opportunities, but so did Milan. At the start we wanted to serve Leo Messi down the right flank, but it wasn't easy with Gianluca Zambrotta there. This is why he was then moved to the centre."
