Barcelona boss Guardiola AXED unhappy Pique for Bayer Leverkusen win
Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola AXED Gerard Pique for last night's Champions League win over Bayer Leverkusen.
While Guardiola played down the decision to leave out Pique for the 3-1 win, it's emerged he dropped the former Manchester United defender for his performance in defeat at Osasuna.
Guardiola was unhappy with Pique's display on the night and decided to take action yesterday.
El Mundo Deportivo says Pique did not speak to the media after the game and left for the team bus with a face like thunder.

Pique is a great team mate and important to the catalans. let not be quick to judge. he might have slipped at Osasuna but he is a great inspiration to the team and also a player who delivers.
