Barcelona coach Luis Enrique says Lionel Messi will remain their designated penalty taker.

Messi missed a late spotkick in their Champions League win at Manchester City.

"We are very pleased with the result. Penalties are for those who dare to step up and Leo Messi is our penalty taker without a doubt. The tie is still open and against an opponent of this quality we must not relax. The aim is to head into the return leg with confidence," said Enrique.

"The whole team has played a great game, every one. I am very pleased with the attitude of the players. The things in the dressing room are of no interest to anyone, especially to you."
