Barcelona coach Luis Enrique is delighted with the form of defender Jeremy Mathieu.

The Frenchman has struck crucial goals against Real Madrid and Celta Vigo over the past fortnight.

Enrique said that the two goals have not changed his mind, but that he had always thought the player was special: "His performance has been good since the start of the season.

"I always said he was a very good reinforcement."
