Lionel Messi was equally effusive about the 21-year-old Mexican, saying: "Chicharito has been a really key player for Manchester United this year. He scored against us (Argentina) in the World Cup. He's very fast and smart and two-footed. He has done a lot in such a little time in Manchester."
