Barcelona beat Real Madrid, Liverpool for keeper prospect

Barcelona have beaten a host of rivals to land 17 year-old goalkeeper Oier Olazabal.

Olazabal arrives from Real Union de Irun and chose Barca ahead of offers from Real Madrid, Liverpool and Levante.

"It's a dream that's become reality," said the 1.9m tall keeper. "I've wanted to play for Barca since I was very small. My ambition now is to one day play for the first team."

Olazabal has signed a five-year deal with Barca and will begin his career with Pep Guardiola's B team.
