Barcelona are the latest European power to make their interest known for CSKA Moscow wing-back Yuri Zhirkov.
Txiki Begiristain, the Barcelona sports director, made contact with CSKA last week about a price for Zhirkov.
Zhirkov's representatives admit the 25 year-old would welcome a future move to Spain, though CSKA have the cash power to hold onto the left-sided midfielder.
