Barcelona officials have railed against minders for Neymar barely hours after he penned a new five-year deal.
Andre Cury, a lawyer and the club's representative in Brazil, responded to Marcos Motta, one of Neymar's lawyers, who had said on his Twitter account that the player's new contract was the "biggest contract in the history of football."
Cury spoke to GloboEsporte.com and criticised Motta, who then took to Twitter again to say change "biggest" for "best.
Cury had said: "It was an idiotic comment, from a lawyer who wants to be appear [in the media]. He doesn't have the authority to talk about a confidential contract. Much less to talk about the contracts of other Barcelona players, or the rest of the world's teams."
Motta later stated: "I spoke with him - Cury - just now on the phone. We laughed together. Just replace 'biggest' with 'best' and everything's all right! The game goes on!"
