Barcelona and Man City meet to discuss Robinho transfer

Manchester City and Barcelona officials will reportedly meet in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday to resume talks about Robinho's move to the Nou Camp, claims the Daily Mail.

The European champions want to take the Brazil international to the Nou Camp in the January window and will put three options on the table.

The first is a six-month loan, the second is an 18-month loan with the move made permanent in 2011 and the third is a January transfer for about the £34million City paid Real Madrid for Robinho in 2008.

Robinho, almost fit again after a stress fracture to his left leg, is understood to be keen to return to Spain and link up with Barcelona.

He told El Mundo Deportivo: "I'm calm. My father takes care of those matters."

When told by the Catalan newspaper that the transfer was close to being agreed, he is quoted as replying: "If so, that's good."
