Spanish Primera Division champion FC Barcelona has agreed a sponsorship deal with PepsiCo's sports nutrition drink Gatorade, reports Soccerex Business Daily. The agreement will run for three years, from 2013-14 to 2015-16. Barcelona will provide exposure of Gatorade's products at the Nou Camp stadium and news conferences as well as on the club's official website.
Gatorade, which has an extensive association with sport in North America and is increasingly prominent in Europe, will also offer Barcelona access to the company's laboratory and testing facilities at the Gatorade Sports Science Institute, which will provide support for the club's players.
