Barcelona are convinced they can beat Real Madrid for Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery in the summer. The France international winger revealed yesterday that he had offers from "Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester City".

Sport says Bayern president Franz Beckenbauer would prefer to sell Ribery to Barca ahead of Real because he is unhappy with the behaviour of the Madrid club in the transfer market.

Indeed, it's suggested the only chance Real have of landing the winger is if Florentino Perez wins the summer election and includes Zinedine Zidane on his ticket. Zizou shares the same agent, Alain Miglaccio, as Ribery.
