Barcelona ace Lionel Messi has pleaded for his Argentina teammates to pick up the slack as their World Cup qualifying hopes hang by a thread.
The midfielder said: "We have good players in the national team and I cannot win a game alone.
"It is the responsibility of the entire team to go out there and beat the opponent."
Messi also rubbished claims that Argentina's players perform better for their European clubs because they're paid so well.
He added: "This is horrible. We all wear the jersey with pride."
