Barcelona ace Lionel Messi wants to win the Champions League this season after missing out on 2006's triumph.

The Argentine missed the victory over Arsenal due to injury and said: "It's something that I cannot forget, it's something that I would like recover from. Although I had played many matches, I do not regard it as a personal triumph.

"In Paris, I did not feel like a champion of Europe, now I see it differently but I want to enjoy the feeling of winning a title on the field, possibly in Rome itself."
