Barcelona ace Lionel Messi moved to end rumours of a rift with Argentina coach Diego Maradona. Messi has failed to translate his club form to the international stage under Maradona, which has fueled talk of a row between the pair.
But after victory over Racing Santander last night, Messi declared: "The relationship with Diego is good. We have not fought, on the contrary, not only with me but with everybody.
"Reporters should stop trying to dig up c*** on this subject.
"Working with Maradona is enjoyable because of the way he treats the players.
"The important thing is to qualify, be calm, and then prepare ourselves well for the World Cup. It takes time and hard work."
