Barcelona ace, Juventus midfielder make Chile squad

Chile boss Jorge Sampaoli has called together a 30-man provisional squad for the FIFA World Cup.

Among the names are Barcelona star Alexis Sanchez, Juventus ace Arturo Vidal, Real Sociedad keeper Claudio Bravo and Cardiff City's Gary Medel.

Other English-based players include Nottingham Forest defender Gonzalo Jara and Wigan Athletic's Jean Beausejour while Valencia striker Eduardo Vargas, Juventus defender Mauricio Isla and Fiorentina's Matias Fernandez have all been included.

Chile have been drawn alongside holders Spain, 2010 finalists Holland and Australia in Group B of the 2014 World Cup.
