Barcelona ace Fabregas helped influence Cazorla's Arsenal move

Former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas helped influence Santi Cazorla's move from Malaga to North London.

The 27-year old Spanish midfielder has completed his £16million shift to the Emirates Stadium and revealed that ex-Gunners skipper Fabregas and star winger Robert Pires were instrumental in helping him make his decision.

"Everyone who has played here such as Robert Pires and Cesc Fabregas have spoken very highly about the club," Cazorla told Arsenal Player.

"I think it's one of the greatest clubs in Europe, it is always fighting for silverware and just for those reasons it is worth trying to play at this club and in the Premier League."
