Barcelona ace Eto'o would prefer Man Utd ahead of Man City
Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o has three major offers on the table.
El Mundo Deportivo says Inter Milan, Manchester City and Manchester United have all registered their interest with Eto'o's representatives.
The biggest offer is from City, but Eto'o is reluctant to move to Eastlands due to their lack of Champions League football.
The Cameroon international is warming to the prospect of joining United, but manager Sir Alex Ferguson's reluctance for his players to exploit their commercial value could prove a stumbling block.
After his success in the Champions League last season, African companies are queuing up to discuss endorsement deals with Eto'o. With Cameroon struggling to reach next year's World Cup in South Africa, Eto'o fears the next 12 months could be the last time to take advantage of his global profile.

*NEWS JUST IN*
According to reports, all the top European players have realised that City are in fact Sh1t and have decided not to go there. Upon learning the news, City have turned their attention to Lucas Neil, Clint Dempsy, and Cisse. Gary Cook had these words to say:
"It has become clear to us that buying trophies is going to be harder than we thought. Apparently in a total shock to ourselves, leading footballers want a chance to win trophies! We here at Manchester City cannot offer succsess but we can pay alot of money, but it would appear that most good players are intellegent enough to understand that we don't actually have any chance of winning anything nor can offer any possibility of challenging for the major honours. It has become our policy to bid ridiclious amounts of money for players and when they turn us down, deny all knowledge (as to protect our image and not look like a bunch of amatuer muppets)."
So it looks as though City will be in the market for distinctly average players this summer to buid on their (noteably *going places*) finishing position of 10th last year.
err what future? you finished 7th, or 8th 9th?
cant remember...anyway who caress,. unite r current champions 3 times in a row. what makes you think we r in decline...haha. our team full of the best players in the world. and they are all in early 20's! losers....dream on....
and no man city wont get whoever they want.! case in point kaka, went to real for half the transfer fee and wages that man sh1tty offered. berbatov the same. dont know where all this arrogance comes from. you have a sh1t manager, who doesnt have the defensive tactics to win anything.
if city dont wan him then united can have him, but only city can offer him big money and a great future, united on the other hand can offer history, guess wot ask yourself ur boss say hey u wanna work in this office an il pay u treble or work in the one next door an u can have the same pay ur gettin now but its got a great history, need i say more grego the peel hall blue
