Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas admits he moved to Arsenal as a teenager not believing he would make it as a footballer.
Cesc was talking about teammate Gerard Deulofeu and his success on-loan at Everton.
"At this age, what you have to do is play. My case was different. That time was a rare moment for Barca, it was very difficult and so individually it is logical that you look what's best for you.
"I saw people like Gerard, Marc Valiente or Messi were climbing through the categories. I was not. They did not trust me like the others.
"Besides, I never thought I would be a footballer.
"I never believed when I was a cadet. One thing is to dream about it, but I was more focused on studying, my friends. To have a normal life at 16 years of age."
