AC Milan chief Barbara Berlusconi insists she supports the club's sale.

Bee Taechaubol could announce the majority share purchase of AC Milan today.

"The entourage of Barbara Berlusconi categorically denies some stories which have appeared in the media in which she has pushed for the club not to be sold," a statement reads.

"Barbara Berlusconi has only the best interests of the club and its fans at heart, she remains distant from scenarios such as a possible sale or partial retention of the club by Fininvest.

"The only person who will make a decision on the future of the club is, as has been the case for 29 years, the President, Silvio Berlusconi."
