Ruben Baraja hopes Valencia holds onto their three star players.

The midfielder said: "If it is ultimately confirmed that David Silva, David Villa and Joaquin will continue, it will be one of the great stories of the summer, because the team will have a more competitive level."

On Villa's demands for a new contract, Baraja was adamant: "In all walks of life there are levels, people who earn more and who earn less. The responsibility goes hand in hand and the accountability of Villa is bigger than other players."
