Julio Baptista will resist all offers to leave Real Madrid in the final days of the summer market.

The Brazil international has told Real directors he wants to prove his worth under new coach Bernd Schuster and won't consider leaving Madrid.

Baptista was open to a move to AC Milan, but after seeing their £8 million bid rejected by Real sports director Pedja Mijatovic a fortnight ago, he has now settled on staying in Madrid.
