Mamadou Sakho will learn his fate at a UEFA hearing next month, according to reports.
The Liverpool defender was suspended for 30 days after testing positive to a fat-burning substance in March.
UEFA opted not to extend the ban at the end of May as they commenced their own investigation in a bid to make sure the substance should actually be banned or not.
Sakho's legal team appealed to UEFA that the supplement taken by the Frenchman should not be banned because its contents have no scientific performance enhancing affects.
A hearing has been set for July, but the exact date is unknown, as Sakho continues to wait and see what could be ahead for his career.
