Barry Bannan was delighted with his goal in Aston Villa's 1-1 draw at Europa League opponents Rapid Vienna.
The 20-year-old's 11th minute strike from Marc Albrighton's pinpoint centre was one of the many plus points for the claret and blues during the stalemate at the Gehard Hanappi Stadium.
And Bannan admits he is currently on cloud nine.
"It felt brilliant [to score]," he told AVTV.
"It's hard to describe how it felt but it was the best feeling I have had in football so far. Obviously I have scored at Blackpool and Derby but to score here is pretty special because this is where I want to be and want to be playing. To do it here in a competitive Europa League game is brilliant.
"Over the years I have seen Marc [Albrighton] do that plenty of times so I knew what kind of cross was coming in. I thought I am just going to gamble and if it comes there I am there and it was right on and I couldn't miss really."
