Scottish midfielder Barry Bannan is confident he'll get his chance at Aston Villa.
Bannan is encouraged by manager Martin O'Neill's policy of fast-tracking youngsters who consistently impress for the reserves.
"Last year he played me and Marc Albrighton in the UEFA Cup, so if you're doing well he won't hold you back, he'll move you up and on," said Bannan.
"The team's full of young British blood coming through now so it's a good club to be at the minute.
"He's shown that he'll give the youngsters a go if they're good enough."
