Mo Bangura is determined to show the football world what he is capable of after enduring a tough start to life as a Celtic player.
The Sierra Leone striker managed just 15 appearances in his debut season at Parkhead with a knee injury reducing his output following his £2million move from Swedish club AIK Stockholm last summer.
This off-season, Bangura has been getting himself back to full fitness and is now keen to get back to training with the Scottish champions and prove he is no flop.
"I can't wait to go back to Celtic and start working again," he told SunSport.
"I am looking forward to the new season and what it will bring.
"I feel the Celtic fans have still to see the best of me - they will hopefully see a lot more this year.
"I feel happy and I'm excited about the prospect of playing in the Champions League."
He added: "If I get some playing time, then I can become a big success with Celtic.
"I want to help the team succeed and win more trophies after last season.
"But, most of all, I want to give the fans some joy."
