Ever Banega was happy with his debut for Valencia in last night's 1-0 defeat at Atletico Madrid.

The former Boca Juniors midfielder was given the second-half by coach Ronald Koeman and said afterwards: "The coach told me to not try too hard and just try and get involved. That was how I approached it and I'm satisfied with my debut.

"The important thing is that we played well and I am sure we will improve results in the upcoming matches.

"I am not worried about adjusting. I am very calm. I came to play. I am adapting, we are playing well and that's the important thing."
