Valencia's new £12 million signing Ever Banega enjoyed his first training session with his new club yesterday.

Ronald Koeman, however, missed the session, leaving his assistant Jose Maria Bakero to take charge of drills.

Former Boca Juniors star Banega, who entered the field chatting with Ruben Baraja, was first separated from the rest of the first team for some individual exercises before rejoining the rest of the squad.

Koeman must decide today whether to field Banega in tomorrow's Copa del Rey tie against Real Betis.
