Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford has hit out at reports claiming he has no future at Stamford Bridge, reports Sky Sports News. The 21 year old is currently on loan with ChampionshipMiddlesbrough where he has scored 13 times since joining the club in August.
Bamford was quoted as saying he did not feature in manager Jose Mourinho's plans at Chelsea.
Bamford has now issued a statement insisting his quotes have been taken out of context from an old interview.
"I have discussed my career path with Jose on many occasions and am very happy with it," he said.
"Everyone's aim is for me to continue to develop as a player under Jose's supervision and to have a long and successful career at Chelsea".
