Mario Balotelli has told AC Milan to make a move for Manchester City defender Micah Richards.

Richards, 25, is expected to leave Manchester City after rejecting a new five-year deal earlier this season.

The Mirror says Milan have sounded out the player's representatives about a switch to Serie A after getting a recommendation from his former City team-mate Balotelli.

However, Liverpool also have Richards on their wish-list after a loan bid was rejected in January.
