Manchester City have been boosted by the news that star recruit Mario Balotelli will be back from injury at the end of October.
The Italian striker was originally set to be sidelined until sometime in November with a knee injury but City boss Roberto Mancini has confirmed he will be back in first team calculations sooner rather than later.
"He is in Italy today and his knee is okay. I think he may be ready at the end of October, in four to five weeks," he told Sky Sports News.
Balotelli began his City career in great fashion but was cut down soon after with the problem and has not played since early in the campaign.
