Mario Balotelli wrote an open letter to Inter Milan fans after his red card in Tuesday's draw at Champions League opponents Rubin Kazan.
"Dear Nerazzurri fans," he wrote in an open letter on his personal website last night.
"I am so sorry for my red card in the Champions League. Unfortunately I made two silly mistakes that cost us dearly and cancel out all the effort I put into this game.
"I hope to make up for it in future, continuing to give my all with the utmost professionalism. Hugs, Mario."
