Mario Balotelli is fighting for his future at Liverpool. The Daily Star says Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is already losing patience with the Italian striker following a series of shocking performances.
Balotelli, who signed a three-year contract at Liverpool, has flopped since his £16m move from AC Milan in August with just one goal from 10 appearances.
And club sources claim an attempt to offload him in the January transfer window has not been ruled out.
The club's coaching staff do not have any question marks over Balotelli's ability as a player.
But unless he starts to consistently deliver in front of goal, and improves his attitude in matches, he will be axed from the starting line-up and shown the exit door.
