Lazio goalkeeper Marco Ballotta has confirmed the players held crisis talks with president Claudio Lotito yesterday.

Lotito called a morning meeting with the squad and coach Delio Rossi after Wednesday night's derby defeat to Roma.

Ballotta said: "This morning we reviewed our derby performance, although I don't believe we played poorly, and agreed not to look to the future with pessimism.

"The Fiorentina game comes at the right time for us. It'll be a tough match, but the perfect way to get our season back on track."
