Davide Ballardini hasn't ruled out remaining with Palermo.

Rosanero president Maurizio Zamparini revealed last week that Ballardini has asked to be released from his contract.

After their 2-2 draw with Sampdoria, Ballardini said: "I thank the President and the squad for our season. It's not certain my relationship with the club will be interrupted, as we do have a contract. I just want my role respected."
