Davide Ballardini has signed a new three-year contract with Palermo.
The Rosanero have picked up 12 points from their last five matches, including a win over Juventus last weekend.
And Ballardini has convinced Zamparini that he is the man for the job, prompting the offer of a two-year contract extension.
