Tottenham star Gareth Bale admits they want victory over Arsenal for the fans.

After last weekend's loss to Manchester City, Bale believes a clash with their fierce rivals is exactly what the team needs to get back on track.

"It's almost the perfect situation," the winger told tottenhamhotspur.com.

"All form goes out of the window in the derby; we'll go out there to play for the fans and try to go out for a victory.

"You step onto the pitch and feel the atmosphere around you. It's a great day and hopefully we'll come out on top. The lads concentrate on the game and try to treat it as just another game, but we know how important it is for the fans."
