Gareth Bale insists Tottenham will not be taking Blackpool lightly on Sunday. Spurs travel to Bloomfield Road this weekend to face the surprise package of the season in Ian Holloway's Seasiders.
Blackpool have claimed a succession of scalps in their first 16 games and fifth-placed Tottenham would be one of the biggest.
"It will be a difficult task but we have to be up for it as much as we were up for the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea," said winger Bale, who is set to go head to head with Wales team-mate Neal Eardley.
"We'll prepare right and hopefully we'll get the right result up there.
"We can't underestimate Blackpool and won't do that.
"A lot of teams have this season and come off on the losing side. We know it will be tough, especially at Blackpool."
Bale added on his club's official website: "We always attack and, watching a few of their games, they like to attack as well, so I'm sure it will be a great match.
"If we're on our game, I'm confident we've got enough to beat them."
