He said: "We matched Manchester United around the pitch and hopefully we can turn any negatives into positives and kick on from here.
"We will give 100 per cent to do that."
Bale, 18, also revealed his disappointment that Tottenham did not get a point out of Sunday's game.
He added: "We played well, in the second half especially, and got a few more shots on target.
"We looked like we were going to score, penalty decisions went against us and we must now look at the positives from this game and take them into our next one.
"Football can be weird, sometimes it goes for you and sometimes against.
"We will now kick on with our season and get a few wins."
