Gareth Bale is happy playing striker for Tottenham.

Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas may play Bale through the middle with Jermain Defoe sidelined due to an ankle injury.

The Wales star said: "Yeah I enjoy it. It's a role I'm learning season by season, I've come inside more often than previous seasons.

"I enjoy it. It's a new experience for me. It's a chance to improve my game and a different dimension."
