Bale declares Tottenham "are back" after victory over Swansea

Tottenham ace Gareth Bale feels victory over Swansea City shows they're "back".

Bale believes his team are firmly back on track.

"We've been playing well," he said on Sky Sports 1.

"We've had quite a bit of bad luck but we showed what we can do on the pitch today against a great footballing side like Swansea and got a vital three points to put pressure on the others.

"We've moved back level with Arsenal and can hopefully go above them."

Bale admitted the hosts had far from had it all their own way against Brendan Rodgers' side.

"(It was) very hard," he said.

"The way they play the ball is just unbelievable. Full credit to them - they've been fantastic this season, but we showed our true class today. We showed what attacking prowess we've got and punished them when we could."

He added: "We were just saying, me and Younes (Kaboul) - we're back now. We feel like we're playing well the last couple of games. I think against Stoke was the turning point when we got the last-minute equaliser. The confidence is building and we're ready for a run."
