Tottenham star Gareth Bale feels he and his teammates can record a positive result when they travel to Manchester City this weekend.
Third-placed Spurs take on the league leaders at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday and Bale is confident of mixing it with the pace setters of the competition.
"City still have a great squad and a great team and no matter what team they put out it will be difficult to play against.
"It wasn't a great start to the season losing to the two Manchester clubs, but all the lads have shown what a great spirit we have here and the determination we have. We've come a long way since then.
"We know we have to play our best football to beat them - they gave us a lesson at home at the start of the season.
"They started the season very well which wasn't good for us, but we bounced back. I'm sure it will be a great game.""It will be a big game and one we're looking forward to. There is no reason why we can't pull off a result there," the Welsh ace said.
