The agent of Gareth Bale is ready to meet with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy to discuss Real Madrid's interest.

Tottenham are desperate to hang on to their star player, who scored 26 goals last season in a sensational campaign, and will put up stiff resistance.

Agent Jonathan Barnett told the Daily Express last night he will sit down with club chairman Levy in the next couple of days for talks. He added: "I'm sure we will speak to Tottenham and then we will see where we go."
