AS Roma chief Franco Baldini admits they're pushing Luis Enrique to pen a new, long-term deal.

The Spaniard is now beginning to see his work produce positive results at the Giallorossi.

Baldini said: "Extension for Luis Enrique? With him from the beginning we wanted to do a longer program, he wanted to wait to see the impact he made on Italian football and to be fully satisfied.

"The extension was offered after Fiorentina, for the quality of his work."
