AS Roma GM Franco Baldini insists coach Zdenek Zeman and the current squad is compatible.

Roma have collected just eight points from a possible 18 and their win at Cagliari was awarded to them by the authorities.

"There is no misunderstanding between Zeman and the players," the former Real Madrid and England chief said.

"We were convinced in pre-season of what we were doing, but we haven't maintained our promises in the championship, we haven't shown our qualities - which have been amplified by our loss at Juventus."
