Blackburn's Reid pleased with latest comeback

Blackburn Rovers midfielder Steven Reid was pleased with his comeback last week in the Carling Cup.

He said: "I feel good. It is good to come away injury free, get 70 minutes under my belt. I felt strong in the first half although maybe I started to tire a bit in the second half.

"If I am not playing in the first team then I will be playing in the reserves and getting as much game time in as possible. It is up to the manager but if not playing first team, I have to be playing reserves.

"You never know. We got the win, with decentish performances. It is looking like we have a decent squad, the manager has always said you lose your shirt but we will see what happens." It is now over a year since Reid - a £2.5m signing from Millwall back in the summer of 2003 - made a Premier League appearance.
