Sky Sports' Spanish football expert Guillem Balague believes Real Madrid star James Rodriguez is most likely to join Manchester United in the summer.
Speculation surrounding Rodriguez's departure has been rife this season. Until three weeks ago, Real manager Zinedine Zidane had used the Colombian sporadically throughout the La Liga campaign.
Since then, the 25-year old has been on fire, netting 4 goals in his previous 3 league appearances.
Despite his recent spike in form, Balague still believes he is likely to leave.
Writing for Sky Sports, Balague commented: “James is wanted by many teams in Europe, and for me Manchester United are the favourites to get him."
“His agent is Jorge Mendes who is very close to Jose Mourinho.
“He is the kind of player who instead of going to a club that is guaranteed to win the title next season, would be willing to help a team on the up, and Manchester United with the investment coming in the summer should be contenders for everything"
