Real Madrid star Gareth Bale fears he's going bald.

The Sun reports he uses his famous “man bun" to hide that he is going bald and is considering a hair transplant.

The Welsh footie wizard is so fed-up with stretching strands across his bare patch he may have surgery.

Real Madrid superstar Bale, 27, was stung by tweets about his thinning thatch after it was glimpsed during his heroics for Wales at Euro 2016.

The source said: “Gareth's been trying to cover up his bald patch for a while by tying his hair in the bun. He now wants to get it sorted."

Crystal Palace midfielder Joe Ledley, 30, a fellow Wales player and a close pal, is said to have recommended KSL Hair, which charges up to £10,000 for hair transplant treatment that takes one day at clinics in Cardiff, Glasgow and Kent.
