Baily Cargill is thrilled with his new contract at Bournemouth.

The 20-year-old is set to remain at Cherries at least until the end of the 2017-18 season after signing a fresh three-year contract.

Cargill told the Daily Echo: “I had two years left to run on my previous deal but now the club have given me another year and that makes me feel special.

“Obviously, they think highly of me and I really appreciate them showing that faith.

“I feel I need to repay the club for showing so much faith and giving me rewards through the contracts they have offered.

“My career is in my own hands. Everything has been laid out on the table for me to go and deliver."
