Bafetimbi Gomis has shaken hands on a deal with Swansea City.
WalesOnline says Gomis was in South Wales on Tuesday having held talks with chairman Huw Jenkins, undergoing a medical after shaking hands on what is believed to be a three-year deal with the aim to complete a Bosman free move Ligue 1 side Lyon.
Swansea are not thought to have blown their wage structure for the 12-cap international, among the top scorers in French football last season with 14.
However, Gomis will be due a bumper signing-on fee and his deal includes lucrative bonuses.
